The IT Announcement Groups Web site is designed to inform our customers about changes and service improvements that will be happening in the near future. These announcement groups range from networking outages to service improvements related to various software applications provided to university affiliates.
Several of these announcement groups are restricted to ASU affiliates. In order to be able to subscribe to the restricted announcement groups you must login with your ASURITE User ID and password. The IT Announcement Groups Web site uses ASUWEBAUTH for authenticating persons affiliated with the university.

How to Subscribe to an Announcement Group

If you are affiliated with ASU and have a ASURITE ID then follow these steps:
  1. Click the 'Login' link under the 'ASU Affiliated' heading to the left.
  2. You will then be redirected to ASU WebAuth Login page.
  3. Enter your ASURITE ID and Password into the form provided and click the 'Login' button.
  4. Click the 'Modify My Subscriptions' link under the 'Account Actions' heading to the left.
  5. Place a check mark after 'Subscribe' to the right of the groups that you want.
  6. Click the 'Modify Subscriptions' button.
If you are not affiliated with ASU then follow these steps:
  1. Click the 'Create Account' link under the 'Non-ASU Affiliated' heading to the left.
  2. Enter the requested information (all fields are required).
  3. Click the 'Create Account' button.
  4. Follow the instructions that are displayed.
  5. Once the account has been created and activated click the 'Login' link under the 'Non-ASU Affiliated' heading to the left.
  6. Enter the User ID and Password for your account and click the 'Login' button.
  7. Click the 'Modify My Subscriptions' link under the 'Account Actions' heading to the left.
  8. Place a check mark after 'Subscribe' to the right of the groups that you want.
  9. Click the 'Modify Subscriptions' button.
